I love to listen to people talk about the plans they have for the business. The marketer in me though is always wanting to hear what they have in the works for the holidays, the new year, and the first six months of that new year. And for that you need to plan. Because if you snooze, you lose.

Working out a detailed marketing strategy takes a little planning, a lot of research and some long hours. Those things take time. If your business is just starting to go over holidays sales, you have already missed several days of serious shopping. Do not wait for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to put things on sale. That should be in the works now. And you cannot forget about the weekend that follows or Cyber Monday.

The point is, procrastination in this instance means losing money. Get with an marketing specialist and get some sales campaigns going, now. Your sales will be worth it.
