Be Consistent

Consistent is defined as setting and achieving specific goals. Start by determining how you want to be more consistent in your life, and aim for these small goals. Over time, as you become more consistent, this will keep yourself motivated and accountable.

Terrific. What does being consistent have to do with social media? The answer is, over time you can have an audience that automatically recognizes your brand. The legwork has been done. You are already recognizable. So, what do I mean?

Which fast food company does it your way? Who doesn't want to grow up? And which famous television network is headed by a peacock? You know the answers. And why? Because each company chose a direct approach and continually pushed a message towards their audience. If you think of coke when you want a soda pop then you know it can work.

So make concrete decisions about what you want your public to see. Find a slogan you love and others can remember, and work it into every .aspect of your marketing campaign. Be persistent about colors and lingo. Though the commercial has been off the airwaves for years, will all think of Wendy when we hear "Where's The Beef?"

It takes time and it takes patience. But in the end, it will be well worth your advertising dollar.
