To Buy Or Not To Buy

One of the most frequent questions that I receive from clients is where to spend their money on advertising. So many people are struggling with whether it is worth it or not. Do Facebook ads really work? And depending on what your are selling or what services you offer, you can often think, when it comes to Facebook, is it smart to buy or not to buy?

That fact is there is no clear cut answer to this question. Some businesses work better than others. Food and alcohol definitely fare better than say tires. It can be harder for diesel mechanics as oppose to dog groomers. And when it comes to an industry that knocks it out of the park, fashion will win everytime.

What I do suggest is taking something that is working well for you already on your Facebook page. A post that you received a lot of response to, and creating your ad from it. Chose a short period of time to promote it. Watch your numbers and see how your customers respond. If it is, great. You are on the right path. If not, carefully review the terminology you used, change the image and try again.

It is not an exact science, but with some strategy, planning and luck, you can make it work for you.
