Lazy Summer
It is quite easy to get lost in June, July and August. The heat can make the easiest of days seem to run a little slower. Leaving for that beach vacation is on everyone's minds. So what can that mean for your company? We tent to get sloppy in our marketing.
Considering most of our important holidays occur during the winter months, it can be discouraging that we only have the Fourth of July to focus on. It's not very difficult if you own a busines that services bass boats, but if you sell winter coats, where do you focus?
Don't allow this to become an issue. This is the perfect time to celebrate something that is unique to you. Is your birthday June 18th? Have a sale and "gift" your customers with something amazing. Take a product that only does so-so in sales and promote it. For instance, if you are a coffee shop, why not come up with an August smoothie featuring blueberries and strawberries? Offer a choice of fruit muffins. And let your customers know about these specials in your promotions and on social media.
Summer can be slower than the rest of the year. Just don't allow it to be slow on your bottom line.
