Sometimes...It Takes Two

This year has been so completely interesting and it's only the third week of January I have had the extraordinary fortune to collaborate on a couple of projects with people that I adore and respect. And these hours of working together have lead me to come to a fabulous conclusion. Sometimes it takes two.

Whether it's working with a good friend to put on a great sale, or with a family member to get a client's home in order, this time has resulted in, well, fabulous results! Working with another company to reach a successful end is certainly not new. I'm guessing that I have fallen into the practice of only relying upon myself. Ideas, the actual work and the requirement of making sure the customer is satisfied has landed squarely on my shoulders. I am delighted to say that in both instances above, not only were the clients happy, but generally thrilled to tell others of our efforts.

I under no pretense presume that I invented the idea of collaboration, but I wish to encourage others to give it a shot. The exchange of ideas, new directions and support can bring a wonderful outcome. .

So grab a friend in your field of expertise and plan a new adventure. Who knows where the vision of two may lead?
