It's All Relative
Social media has dozens of ways to advertise your business to new customers. Whether you chose short Instagram videos to Facebook ads, if you want to venture into new avenues, you can't beat being online. And if your business is specific, (i.e. carpet cleaner), you have the option to chose exactly which audience you wish to market to and when.
It's All Relative
Though social media marketing has been around awhile, there is still no concrete evidence that if you are in a certain trade or market, one certain media outlet is going to work better for you. No marketer can say if your business sells sandwiches than Twitter is the place for you. And do you know why? Because social media is constantly changing. As new outlets are emerging, think VK or Reddit, a marketer has to constantly keep on track of where to advertise. Not only can that be frustrating for the advertiser, but the marketer as well. In reality, it's all relative.
The best that any quality marketer can do is watch the trends, stay on top of the changes in the field as they come along and do your best to adapt quickly. The social media roller coaster may be wild, but it can be ridden.
