It's Good To Be Back!

Well it has been two years since I last sat at this computer and shared what I love about social media and helping others in their business. Unfortunately, my health took it's toll on me and I had to stop and focus on myself for a while. Now I am proud to say I am fifty pounds lighter, off all of my medication and now exercise on a regular basis. As I hit the double nickel next week, I find myself striving to live a healthier, happier life. I still want to help people succeed, but I realize that I cannot do that without first taking care of myself.

Social media has changed so much in the last two years and then it hasn't changed at all. While I remember some people saying that Facebook was on it's way out, I knew people who were shifting more of their advertising budget to Facebook ads. As Twitter grew, millennials became obsessed with becoming overnight stars. But as fast as they rose, they also crashed, causing some of them to have to take a hard look at where their "career paths" were going. And while Instagram stayed steady, Pinterest seemed to become that subject in high school everyone had to take, but you never knew why.

If there is one thing you can count on with social media, is that you can't count on anything. You have to be prepared for everything to change. And you never know when. There is no set schedule. No grace period, or downtime. But that is what makes it exciting. I really missed seeing what happened daily on the web. But I'm back now and I hope to help as many people as possible. If you have a question or need some advice please do not hesitate to contact me. I have plenty of time. I refuse to allow that nasty spider to steal any more of my life or time. I am here to share my God given talent of the written word with everyone. It's good to be back.

I hope this blog finds you well. I will be writing more often now so reach out to me either here on my website or on Facebook. Either way just remember this. Fight like your the 3rd monkey trying to get on Noah's Ark, and it's starting to rain!
