Pressure
I wish I had some magic words. Simple letters strung together that would make each business owner feel better. But I'm not a witch. And I don't have the secret formula. I cannot say exactly what you need to hear to guide you through this difficult season. We are all under pressure.
No one living in this moment in the marketing arena knows what to say to help you to promote your company. I have friends who businesses are doing very well, i.e. bakeries, clothing and jewelry), and others who are not. I myself have had two events be postponed. And for me, no work means no income.
What I can tell you is this is the perfect time to try whatever feels right for you on the inside. Let your guiding intuition lead you. The only thing that I know is right is to continue to market yourself. Let everyone know what you have to offer. Promote a great sale if you can. And hang on. We will only survive this craziness if we support each other.
Anxiety about the future is high for everyone. The pressure to make a sale and continue to grow your business is probably a bit overwhelving right now. But do not allow this to give you a reason to quit. Remember all of the whys that led you to start your dream job in the first place.
